Hello 2013

It's a new year again so it's time for a fresh start. I know I say this every year, but I'm going to be more active with my art. I've already started the year off well with a few commissions and orders on my Etsy account, SlyDucky Creations. I hope this trend continues. It feels really nice to know people out there like my work enough to want to own it.

I'm kinda psyched about the announcement of Pokemon X and Y. They fact that we're going to have the same release as Japan is a huge plus rather than having to wait until the following March with they get it in October as usual. It has however reminded me that i've been slacking off with my pokefashions big time. Well no more. Generation five will be completed before October for sure. I plan to even work on some this afternoon so you can probably expect some new posts this evening.

I'm also contemplating getting a table at OMG!con (June 14-16 in Pahducha, KY) I had one their first 3 years, then skipped a couple and had one again a few years back. I've been disappointed in their layouts the past few years so i've opted out but I kinda want to go back. I've found myself being a little bored each year, and maybe having a table again will make it more enjoyable. We'll see they have posted sign ups yet so i still have some time.

The writing bug has been biting at me too, so I might finally get around to writing out Sailor Staria's origin story. Though it might not see daylight for a while. It's been a long time since my fan fiction days.
